Beginner Students (No previous music reading or concert band instrument experience):
Interested in potentially potentially joining our group? Unsure where to begin?  We will be available to answer your questions during this time.  There will be instruments available for beginner students to actually hold and try to see what is the best fit for them.

Experienced Students (Students who have some experience reading music and playing an instrument):
We would love to add you to our group!  Bring your instrument out and play for us so we can decide which group will be the best fit for you.  (ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE!  This is not an audition!  We just need to have an idea of how you play so you end up in the group that best matches your ability.)

Fall 2016 will offer two experienced groups:
Intermediate Band (students who have around 1-3 year experience)
Advanced Band (students who have around 3+ years experience)

NEW BAND BOOSTER ORGANIZATION!!

As H.I.S. Band continues to grow, so does the need for behind the scenes help and financial provision.  We continue to be amazed at what God provides both with the love offerings taken up at concerts and the recent vision of a parent-lead booster organization.  Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and anyone else who is excited about what God is doing to grow the next generation of musicians serving Him are joining together to help keep things moving in HIS direction.

This group will  help organize the fundraising opportunities that will provide H.I.S. Band with the financial provision needed to purchase music, educational posters for the band room, much-needed (expensive) bass instruments that will balance the group's sound, and other needed items.  In addition to helping raise funds, this group will also take some of the weekly burdens off of the directors so they can better focus on teaching.  Some of these responsibilities include recording practice log times, purchasing and distributing prizes throughout the semester, helping register returning students, along with other errands and things that arise each week.

The old saying, "Many hands make light work" holds true here.  Please consider joining!!

For more information on how you can help, please email Michele McCoy at nza20035@yahoo.com

We are thankful to the Lord for the blessings He continues to pour out

on HIS group and we also pray blessings on everyone

whom he has used to bless this band.  Many thanks!
